How to get to the Kruger National Park
South African Airways run regular flights to and from the Kruger National Park / Cape Town or Johannesburg тЂ“ landing at one nearest Airports тЂ“ either Hoedspruit or Kruger Mpumulanga Airport. Connect with either a Federal Air flight hop or a road transfer to your Private Game Lodge.
Federal Air"s premier shuttle service flies daily from Johannesburg International Airport (OR Tambo International Airport), and Nelspruit"s Kruger-Mpumalanga International Airport to selected lodges in Sabi Sands private game reserve in the Kruger National Park - allowing you an easy and trouble free journey to your lodge. There is a luggage limit on these flights of 15 kg"s per person in soft sided bags.
For those travellers with more time on their hands, take a scenic drive in a hire vehicle along the Panoramic Route from Johannesburg to the Kruger National Park. This will allow you to take in the highlights in the area, such as Bourkes Luck Potholes - at your leisure. Perhaps enjoy a night in the old gold mining town of Pilgrim"s Rest to break your journey !
